Grundstücks- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Neuenhaus mbH was founded in 2000 together with Grundstücks- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft des Landkreises Grafschaft Bentheim. Its task is to develop and market residential and commercial areas in the Neuenhaus area.

Grundstücksentwicklungsgesellschaft Neuenhaus is a 50% subsidiary of Grundstücks- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft des Landkreises Grafschaft Bentheim. This makes the town of Neuenhaus the third municipality in the district, alongside Uelsen and Bad Bentheim, to opt for the model of a joint property and development company.
