This year, the town of Neuenhaus would like to commemorate the resistance fighter Colonel Wilhelm Staehle, who was born in Neuenhaus. The 80th anniversary of his death will be in 2025.
This year, the Neuenhaus town fountain in front of the reformed church is once again decorated for Easter. Neuenhaus is thus continuing a custom that has existed since 1987 and was adopted from Franconian Switzerland at the time.
