The "Family, education and social affairs" area is a focal point of the Neuenhaus joint municipality's work. In addition to the provision of modern childcare facilities and an attractive range of schools, it is also concerned with the interests of the older generation, which are represented by the Seniors' Advisory Council. The important work of the youth and cultural centre is also represented in this area. In addition to the music education work of the music school, the joint municipal library also carries out important work in the cultural field.
